RESTAURANTS
DJ's Boudain and rice dressing are prevalent on menus in diners, restaurants, and cafes throughout East Texas. The savory sausage style links are great for various meals, appetizers, or side dishes to fit virtually any style of eatery.
The low cost and low maintenance make DJ's boudain a cost-effective supply for restaurants. It stores easily in the freezer, it requires little to NO prep work, and it's a filling item all on its own—made with pork, rice, and spices.
It's easy to cook on the stovetop in a pot, pan, or grill pan. It can be heated to delicious perfection in the oven, on the grill, or a smoker alongside sausage. It's even great in the microwave! .
Mix with eggs for a cajun-style omelet, slap some BBQ sauce for a barbecue flavor, or use it as a side dish all on its own as rice dressing. For family meals, nothing beats DJ's Boudain for stuffed pork chops, stuffed turkeys and chicken, and even for Grilled Cheese Boudain sandwiches.
A fan favorite, and perhaps most common along the Gulf Coast, are Boudain Balls. These are balled up and fried to a crispy brown for a savory, succulent, crunchy bite that makes for a perfect appetizer or party treat.
