DJ's Boudain Shrimp Casserole

This versatile casserole shines with shrimp or crawfish, making it perfect for both everyday meals and seasonal celebrations. It's a surefire hit year-round!
Ingredients:
  • 1 package DJ's Boudain Fancy Rice Dressing
  • 2 lbs shrimp (peeled and deveined) or crawfish tails (when in season)
  • ½ stick butter
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes
  • Ritz crackers (for serving)
Tools Needed:
  • 1 9x13 Baking Pan
  • 1 Skillet
  • Cooking Spray
  • Knife/Scissor
Instructions:
  1. Prepare the Rice Dressing:
    Heat up your DJ's Boudain Fancy Rice Dressing in a skillet until warmed through. Transfer to a large mixing bowl.
  2. Cook the Shrimp (or Crawfish):
    In the same skillet, melt ½ stick of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and shrimp (or crawfish tails). Cook for 3-5 minutes until fully cooked. If using shrimp, dice into small pieces. Add to the mixing bowl with the rice dressing.
  3. Mix Ingredients:
    Add the cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese soup, and Rotel tomatoes to the bowl. Mix everything together until evenly combined.
  4. Bake the Casserole:
    Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling.
  5. Serve:
    Serve hot with Ritz crackers on the side for a buttery, crunchy complement.
