DJ's Jalapeño Pepper Poppers


  • 2 DJ's Boudain Original Links
  • 8oz Cream Cream
  • 1 1/4 cup Shredded Cheese (We used 1/2 Monteray Jack with Jalapeños, 1/2 three cheese yellow blend.)
  • 8 Jalapeños
  • 1 pack of Bacon (Optional)


  1. Place cream cheese and 2 skinned DJ's Boudain links into a microwavable bowl. Microwave for 2 minutes. Add in 1 cup of cheese and mix thoroughly.
  2. Cut jalapenos in half lengthwise and remove the membrane and seeds.
  3. *Note that you might want to use gloves here to prevent jalapeño hands. Tips on getting rid of the burning is to rub olive oil on your fingers for about a minute then rinse with soap and water.
  4. Fill jalapeños with boudain mixture. Top with remaining cheese. Wrap with bacon.
  5. Place on a foil-lined cookie sheet and bake at 400°F for 40 minutes or until bacon is fully cooked to your liking.
  6. Serve with ranch or lemon butter sauce!

Makes 16 poppers.
