1 8 count can of crescent rolls.
1 Link of DJ's Boudain
Cracker Cut Cheese slices (Cut into fourths)
1 tablespoon "finishing" butter
1 tablespoon chopped parsley leaves
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 350°F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper. Separate dough into 16 triangles by cutting each triangle in half lengthwise.
2. Score Boudain link with a knife, remove and discard the casing, and chop into 1/4 inch slices. Place Boudain slice and cheese slice on the largest side of each triangle. Roll up each piece starting at the widest side of the triangle and rolling to opposite point. Place rolls next to each other in tree-shaped pattern on the cookie sheet starting with the trunk first.
3. Bake 9-12 minutes or until deep golden brown. Remove from oven and brush with melted finishing butter; sprinkle with fresh parsley. Optional: Using the parchment paper, you may transfer the tree to a festive dish. Tree should easily slide off with the help of a spatula.
